This trip was a Colonial Williamsburg Cultural Expedition. We flew from BWI to JFK to Cairo. Pretty simple, but apparently not simple enough for the wonderful airline baggage handlers. They lost both of our bags.
We checked into the Sofitel El Gezirah Cairo on the Nile river in the heart of Cairo, Egypt.
